Project Engineer
Description:
This self motivated project engineer will work within the product development group covering the Bioptigen Optical Coherence Tomography product family. The candidate will be responsible for managing project schedules, drafting project documentation, coordinating and monitoring compliance testing, lead/assist in design verification/validation testing activities and prepare transfer to manufacturing documentation in accordance with Bioptigen's ISO 13485 compliant quality system.
Required Skills:
High proficiency with MS Project.
Experience in working with multiple discipline projects.
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
Experience with SolidWorks CAD a plus.
Experience with compliance to IEC 60601-1 medical electrical equipment standard.
BS in engineering - 5-10 years of experience
Additional Skills:
A demonstrated competence in ISO 60601-1 certification for research and clinical applications.
Experience with GMP 820/ISO 13485 quality processes.
Working knowledge of ISO 14971 risk management standard.
Experience with development of medical instrumentation and devices.
Software Engineer Entry Level (User Interface)
Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for user-centered UI
development of research and clinical system user interfaces in a graphics rich
environment. The candidate should be proficient in Windows Forms, Silverlight or
WPF, and MS Reporting Services, and should have a good graphic sense for
efficient UI design. SQL server experience is a must.
Required Skills:
C# - 2 years of experience
WPF / Silverlight - 1 year of experience
Windows Forms - 1 year of experience
MS Reporting Services - 1 year of experience
T-SQL - 1 year of experience
BS with major in a technical area (Computer Science preferred)
Additional Skills:
The successful candidate should have a solid knowledge of
multithreaded programming, be capable of working in a time critical
environment, deliver code with high Code Metrics and unit tests in a TFS
environment, and have exceptional problem solving skills and high learning
abilities. It is beneficial to have work experience with DirectX. Experience
with medical systems, image analysis, statistics, and real-time signal
processing is a plus.
Software Engineer Database Development
Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for optimization of
database performance, data and code security, database administration, and
development of reporting solutions using MS Reporting Services. The candidate
should be proficient in MS SQL 2008 R2 Database Server and Reporting Services
and development of CLR Stored Procedures.
Required Skills:
C# - 2 years of experience
MS Reporting Services - 2 years of experience
T-SQL - 3 years of experience
BS with major in a technical area (Computer Science preferred)
Additional Skills:
The successful candidate should have a solid knowledge of
multithreaded programming, be capable of working in a time critical
environment, and be able to deliver code with high Code Metrics and unit
tests in a TFS environment. It is also beneficial for the candidate to have
work experience with Web development and Web Services. Experience with
medical systems, image analysis, statistics, and real-time signal processing
is a plus.
